Almost everyone that has grown up in Orland, California for the last 37 Years has attended the Old fashioned 4th of July Celebration at Vinsonhaler Park.  The event is hosted by the Orland Historical and Cultural Society.  There is plenty of food, games and activities for everyone in the community.  If you are new to Orland, be sure to check out this fun event that will begin at 12:00 on July 4th.

The Orland Town Band will begin rehearsals Thursday, Jun 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Orland High School Music Room for the 37th Annual Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. Anyone wishing to play in the Town Band from 1 – 2 p.m. in Vinsonhaler Park on the 4th of July is more than welcome. Additional rehearsals will be held on June 26, June 28, and July 3. Andrew Hancock will conduct this year’s performance.

There will be plenty of food and fun for everyone in the community beginning at noon on the 4th in beautiful shady Vinsonhaler Park. If there is a non-profit organization that wishes to put in a food or entertainment booth and has not done so in the past, please contact Joanne Overton 530-865-2731 , chair of the Orland Historical and Cultural Society’s 37th Annual Old fashioned 4th of July Celebration.
